This course provides the candidate with a sound basic understanding of the world of work within the hospitality industry with an emphasis on food hygiene and safety, practical skills of food preparation, cooking and service techniques. This will be conducted through the real working environment of the training restaurant on the Neath campus. Combined with basic skill support and successful completion you will be able to progress to the professional VRQ 1 qualification.
