The course is practically based supported with underpinning knowledge and assignments in related theory subjects. The diploma consists of a minimum of 37 credits from three areas:


Bakery Skills
Bakery Knowledge
Bakery Enterprise

 

Extra Costs

The Examination Board is FDQ who externally assess the quality assurance of the knowledge
assignments and practical work produced. PPE is essential and the approximate costs for
clothing, shoes and equipment is 210. You will also be required to provide pens, paper and printing cost of approx 20 throughout the year.

FDQ Level 2 Bakery Qualification.  Plus Interview.

Assessment

Practical work is assessed continuously with periodic testing of underpinning knowledge. Assignment work and portfolio building is an essential part of the course.
