The course consists of both practical and theory elements. Practical sessions take place in a fully equipped workshop and training is given by qualified trainers/assessors who have a Construction trade background.
Theory lessons, including essential skills, provide important underpinning knowledge and understanding to support practical training sessions.
 

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements. Applicants are accepted on to the course after successful interview or as a direct progression from successful completion of Diploma Level 1.
All applicants are reminded that the Construction Industry [especially Bricklaying] is physically demanding.

Successful completion of the course will enable progression to Level 3 Diploma and the possibility of a Modern Apprenticeship via a work placement or employer.
 

Career Prospects

Completion of the course can assist in securing employment or links to employment via a work placement.
