This course is designed for adults with few or no qualifications as a gateway to higher education. Successful completion of the course allows entry onto a wide range of degree programmes including Law, History, English, Psychology, Criminology, Counselling and Teacher training*.

The course is daytime only, and can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis. It is an intensive course with a demanding workload. Subjects on the course include Law, History, English and key skills. The course is subject to viable numbers.

*If you wish to apply for Teacher training, you must have GCSEs in English, Maths and Science at grade B or above before applying for the Access course.

Entry Requirements

No formal qualifications are required to enrol on the course, only a commitment to study and motivation to succeed.

*Students who wish to apply for teaching must have achieved GCSE’s at grade C or above in English, Maths and Science
(some universities ask for grade B) before applying for Access courses.
