Livery Awards for Carpenters Lewis Fergusson and Craig Smillie

NPTC Group of Colleges and CITB recently presented awards to two Construction Apprentices (2016), Lewis Fergusson & Craig Smillie both from Llandrindod Wells. They have been recognised by the Worshipful Livery Company of Wales for the Achievement Award.

Bob Clarke presented the awards on behalf of the Livery Guild. Lewis is currently studying for his HNC in Construction & the Built Environment at NPTC Group of Colleges’ Neath Campus and Craig is employed full-time as a carpenter by Carl Williams of Williams Building Contractors Ltd. Craig invested the award prize money to buy tools for the trade.

The Worshipful Livery Company aims to nurture Welsh talent and promotes education, science and technology, with particular promotion of skills and associated professional activities in Wales.  Lewis and Craig have been awarded with the Worshipful Livery Award which aims to develop the talents of young people throughout Wales.
