News : Enterprising Students Get a Taste of France

Worthy Welding Winners

Two engineering apprentices from NPTC Group of Colleges have been presented with state of the art welding helmets by ESAB - one of the top producers of welding equipment and consumables.   

ESAB donated the helmets, which were, at the time the only two in the country. The students were set task which was then assessed by a panel from the College’s engineering department and the winners Max Ledgerwood-Smith a Level 2 student and Jordan Walsh Level 3 were announced.
